Description

There is an independent access from the main house. The apartment, on the 2nd floor (no lift) can accomodate 2 people on a king size bed. A single bed cot is available if requested.(extra charge) There is a private bathroom with a large corner shower, 2 sinks plus a WC and bidet. There is a private area that leads to the bathroom and has a mini fridge and everything you need to prepare a warm beverage.

Guests quarters

The guest room is supplied with a full set of towels and fresh sheets on the bed. Which will be changed regularly according to your length of stay. Our guests will be served breakfast in their guest room at the time requested. No smoking is allowed for security reasons. Upon request, it is possible to provide laundry/ironing services (extra charge)

The neighborhood

Contra XX Settembre street is in a central residential location next door to the main square of Vicenza. Many wealthy VIcentines live in this area due to the vicinity of the main dowtown area and the beautiful historic buildings around it. Across the street from the apartment is one of the best “Pasticceria” , pastry shops in town where you can enjoy a delightful typical pastry of Vicenza and the best cappucino in town!

A tour around

The historical center, made up of Piazza dei Signori (main square), Corso Palladio (main pedestrian central road connecting the two ends of town) and Piazza Castello are all withing walking distance. (5 to 10 miniutes) The grand tower of Teatro Olimpico one of Vicenza’s most famous Theater by the architect Andrea Palladio is seen directly from you terrace of the apartment . You simply cross over the famouse Ponte dei Angeli (Angels Bridge) and it is immediately in front of you. A must. The train station is a 15 minute walk or else a taxi stand is a 3 minute walk from the apartment. If you have your own car, you can park it in any of the side streets around the apartment.

Other things to highlight

The apartment has been recently rennovated and offers all the moderno comforts you desire while within a historical context. Obviously within the such a storic building, while maintaining it’s authenticity, the building in delicate and must be treated with respect. This is also why no smoking is permitted on the premises..
